You know it ! Jason Tufty & Dustin Grice gave The Factory 2.0 a whole new makeover this week. All ramps look brand new, come ride the waves at TCFF & add your tire marks…

The Factory 2.0 Video

These new ramps haven’t even been ride-able for 24 hours and look what’s already been going down…

INTRODUCING THE FACTORY 2.0

One of the only parks in the entire world (if not the only) started & funded by local riders & families, now with 6′ spine 5.5′ box & 7′ quarters both directions to foam & removable resi, monsterrrr transfers, sub box, grind boxes, etc.

Watch our minnesota scene reallyyyy start to kill it in the next few years… Speaking of killing it, Jason Tufty & Dustin Grice voluntarily just clocked in 40 solid hours of work within 2 days cutting framing sheeting & painting, thank you sooo much to all help & especially everyone who makes this facility possible..

Riders showed up tonight & we seriously destroyedddd the place. Edit soon… Let’s build this facility & our sport even bigger, come chip in ride 24/7 & have your own key

Want to build a facility like this for your scene ? Pull the trigger & do it. Lets chat:))

Stay Strong Links available this weekend at all Mega Jump Stunt Shows

Many of you have been asking about Stephen Murray’s new Stay Strong Links from the Link Foundation.. After only being available at Stephen’s home in Riverside, CA, they have now finally arrived in Minnesota, and we will have about 20 of them available this weekend for a $10 donation to the Link Foundation, half of which goes to Stephen Murray’s “Stay Strong” fundraiser brand.

Who is Stephen Murray ? Stephen Murray moved the U.S. from Great Britain with a dream of riding & competing with the best athletes in the sport. His goals set high, to achieve what no one had yet accomplished. He did just that, winning back to back Gold Medals at the X Games & Gravity Games. He would continue on winning numerous titles & medals throughout his professional BMX career. June 22, 2007 marked a day that the Action Sports World will remember for a life time. A day that has forever changed the life of three times U.S. Gold Medalist Stephen Murray. In the midst of doing a double back-flip, Stephen crashed while competing in the BMX Dirt Finals at the Dew Actions Sports Tour, in Baltimore. It was quoted as being “one of the worst crashes seen in BMX” one that would ultimately be career ending, for this incredibility talented, 27 year old athlete. Stephen fought his way to the top of his sport; he would fight to breath, to stay alive. He continues his fight today; to one day hold his children & one day walk again.

These are simple bracelets made from recycled BMX bike chains, created by a Non-Profit Organization partner of ours in town called the Link Foundation. The interesting part about these bracelets, is that our members at The Factory break the chains that these links come from, and then our neighbors at The Factory doing professional powdercoat work who color the links. From there the SS logo is hand painted and hand assembled. A small symbol that we are all connected.

These bracelets will be available this weekend during our shows at Bloomington’s Heritage Days and Richfield’s Penn Cycle Penn Fest, we hope to see you there.

Pictured above is a photo that TCFF co-founder Dustin Grice took of pro BMX rider & VH1’s “X-Life” TV show star Cory “Nasty” Nastazio while rockin his new Stay Strong Link earlier this year in England. And now you have a chance to get yours in Minnesota.

For more information about the Link Foundation, please check out their website where you can also order Stay Strong Links, and more links such at The Pink Link breast cancer bracelet, online at http://linksupport.org/?cat=32

Thank you for your support.

Music to our ears: “Good grades for a pass to TCFF”

Kids talk your parents into this one !!

I made a deal with my son as he started high school this year. Good grades for a pass to TCFF. I’ve never seen him so motivated for anything…ever.

Heck, we’ve even seen homework & school projects done at The Factory.. Check out Chase Bilich’s science fair project:

Done with my science fair project. It was all done at the factory

We’re all here if you need help with anything ! And keep those grades up !! The Factory was initially started by two college graduates… And you could start your own skatepark someday too…

Save 10% on your Membership this Sunday 9/9 at TCFF's First Open House and Instantly have 24/7 Access to your own Indoor Skatepark

We are excited to offer our first discount this Sunday at The Factory! If you pay in full this Sunday 9/9/2012, you can save 10% on your 6 month keyholder membership ($540+tax). Ride your bike indoors whenever you want 24/7 for only $100/mo.. Winter is coming… Already have a membership? Extend it for another 6 months. This Sunday Only.

Since we opened 18 months ago, we have all been chipping in $100/month ($600+tax every 6 months) to help keep our rent, utilities, and insurance paid. We also book our own stunt shows to help keep these monthly bills paid. All of our members have jobs or go to school, which is why we do not have standard “day sessions” set hours or staff at our facility. The Factory works with everyone’s schedule. Ride during the day, or ride until 4am, you have you own key. Only those who pay can ride the facility. We’re all chipping in to keep this alive.

We have an incredible group of very supportive riders and families that keep our place running, and we would love to see you join. All ages are welcome, we have members from under age 10 to over 40. Many of the riders schedule sessions together, and some riders just like having a solo “acoustic sunset” session on their own. Either way, every single person who has ridden at The Factory has a blast, walks out with new tricks, and looks forward to their next session. The members who have been here from the start have showed an insane improvement in their riding. And yes we’ve even had local riders compete at the Dew Tour this year, as well as contests in Europe. We even had a 46 year old rider backflip in one of our shows this year. You could look at your membership as a long term investment for your riding, or even just a healthy activity & place to get away & have a good time in the evenings.

Did we mention our own stunt shows? Imagine doing your brand new trick in front of more than 1,000 people chanting your name. Showcase your talent. We encourage all of our members to ride in our “Mega Jump” stunt shows. Not to mention we’ve been raising the bar for BMX stunt shows, throwing down some of the biggest BMX tricks in the world this summer alone… 360 backflip, backflip barspin to tailwhip, triple tailwhip.. It never ends.

Our end goal is to grow the sport of BMX, and provide a safe facility to do so. And we would love to have you help us do this. Come see it all happen this Sunday.
