Stay Strong Links available this weekend at all Mega Jump Stunt Shows

Many of you have been asking about Stephen Murray’s new Stay Strong Links from the Link Foundation.. After only being available at Stephen’s home in Riverside, CA, they have now finally arrived in Minnesota, and we will have about 20 of them available this weekend for a $10 donation to the Link Foundation, half of which goes to Stephen Murray’s “Stay Strong” fundraiser brand.

Who is Stephen Murray ? Stephen Murray moved the U.S. from Great Britain with a dream of riding & competing with the best athletes in the sport. His goals set high, to achieve what no one had yet accomplished. He did just that, winning back to back Gold Medals at the X Games & Gravity Games. He would continue on winning numerous titles & medals throughout his professional BMX career. June 22, 2007 marked a day that the Action Sports World will remember for a life time. A day that has forever changed the life of three times U.S. Gold Medalist Stephen Murray. In the midst of doing a double back-flip, Stephen crashed while competing in the BMX Dirt Finals at the Dew Actions Sports Tour, in Baltimore. It was quoted as being “one of the worst crashes seen in BMX” one that would ultimately be career ending, for this incredibility talented, 27 year old athlete. Stephen fought his way to the top of his sport; he would fight to breath, to stay alive. He continues his fight today; to one day hold his children & one day walk again.

These are simple bracelets made from recycled BMX bike chains, created by a Non-Profit Organization partner of ours in town called the Link Foundation. The interesting part about these bracelets, is that our members at The Factory break the chains that these links come from, and then our neighbors at The Factory doing professional powdercoat work who color the links. From there the SS logo is hand painted and hand assembled. A small symbol that we are all connected.

These bracelets will be available this weekend during our shows at Bloomington’s Heritage Days and Richfield’s Penn Cycle Penn Fest, we hope to see you there.

Pictured above is a photo that TCFF co-founder Dustin Grice took of pro BMX rider & VH1’s “X-Life” TV show star Cory “Nasty” Nastazio while rockin his new Stay Strong Link earlier this year in England. And now you have a chance to get yours in Minnesota.

For more information about the Link Foundation, please check out their website where you can also order Stay Strong Links, and more links such at The Pink Link breast cancer bracelet, online at http://linksupport.org/?cat=32

Thank you for your support.

Getting More Kids on Bikes… Donate Your Extra Bike Parts to The Link Foundation

You know of all those old BMX parts you have laying around? Yes the ones that you keep saying that you’ll use some day even though deep down you know that you’ll just go out and buy a new one when the time comes.. Well now, thanks to one of close partners, The Link Foundation, you now have a place to put these parts and actually give someone a bike to ride with your parts. And you can write it off as a donation on your taxes.. Win win win ?? Here are the details on this new project:

When I lost my parents, I retreated to my garage full of bicycles from time to time to escape the reality of the moment and give my mind a rest. I would like to think that there are kids out there dealing with health issues, poverty, or worse, that could use some time away from their day to day reality and sadness, and ride off with a smile on a bike they have always dreamed of. Isn’t that what biking is all about?

The Link Foundation Inc. is always looking for new ways to benefit everyone, most certainly the kids. And what saddens us more than anything, is the thought of kids out there without bikes. And as much as we’d like to put two wheels under every last kid without a bike, that’s a big task. But with our friends, connections, and coolest strangers you’ve ever met, donating bicycle parts and funds, we are now able to build some higher-end BMX bikes to be used to raise funds and awareness for the Link Foundation which in turn supports many charities. And of course get some underprivileged kids the “right” equipment or gear they need to learn and grow on bicycles of their own.

This will possibly be decided by essay contests, Silent auction, or by raffle, that is yet to be decided. We will also be auctioning off Bicycles and parts and other donated goods on our website LinkSupport.org for more fund raising in the future. So please contact us if you have any questions or better yet would like to donate some parts, promotional items, Or even a whole bike. We are a 5013c Non-prot so we can supply you with all necessary paperwork for your taxes. Please contact us with any questions.

Bikes and “packaged” parts will be promoted at all Mega Jump BMX Stunt Shows. Performed by The Factory 24 Hour Bike Ramp Facility at various events around the Midwest. And will be advertised before, during, and after all shows. Bikes and Products will also be promoted online on our website LinkSupport.org. As well as advertised on various other websites. All Sponsors, donors, volunteers will be included in all promotions tied into The Link Foundations efforts.

The Link Foundation is a 5013c Non-Prot Company That purely exists to promote “human connection” using recycled bicycle chain links, refurbished into charms used to promote awareness for ALL charities involved with our organization including:

• Breast Cancer Education And Research
• Lost Hope Animal Shelters
• Ronald McDonald Houses
• Randy Shaver Cancer Fund
• And More in the Works…

Please Join us in our efforts to make Biking and Life bigger and better for everyone. Link Up Now.

TCFF is proud to be working with The Pink Link Foundation

We are excited to be raising awareness about “The Pink Link” cancer charity fundraiser bracelets that you may have seen around recently… Please ask us about the bracelets at any of our events, you’ll also see a pink link logo as a reminder on our shirts !

“Help us raise awareness, find a cure and to honor my parents, family, and everyone affected by cancer – which is everyone. To remind all of us that we are connected. By love, by loss, by everything. There is so much going on everyday in our lives, we forget whats important. We all need to be reminded that we are loved, and that we should show our love to others so they too are always reminded.” -Jeff
