This past Sunday I headed to The Factory for a session to try and get back flip no handers and to work on other general tricks. Towards the end I even learned a new trick that I’m pretty excited about!
I’ve done it you guys! I’ve reached 10,000 subscribers and I’ve made an edit of all the best video’s and moments I’ve had on my bike. Everything is here from my first complete backflip in the foam pit, to me learning flairs and frontflips! It’s a journey of my entire riding experience and I hope you guys like the edit! This was quite the productive day… At the beginning of the day I did a frontflip first try on the box jump! I was doing flairs, flips, 360 whips, and all kinds of tricks on the different ramps. Also my buddy Caden did his first backflip in this video! I did quite a bit of riding in the foam pit trying to learn new tricks, and towards the end I was getting really close on cash rolls in the foam pit!
Dustin is back in Minnesota for the week! We made a video showing you guys his front cover photo on the March issue of BMX Plus, as well as the Ben’s Backyard article in the Latest April issue! Dustin also talked about his Youtube Channel and the kind of video’s he’s been uploading lately (such as riding from Ben’s Backyard and WoodWard West). After that, Dustin shredded the factory showing eveyone how to do some propper combo tricks!

This Factory session was a productive one, I got decades over the box jump now and I landed quite a few. Theres a couple falls, and bit of foam pit riding in the beginning, but it’s mostly me doing decades throughout the evening.
Yesterday I headed to the factory for a couple hours. I spent some time filming and dialing in on the tricks I normally do, and I tried decades in the foam! I’ve tried these before but I couldn’t do them at all, but I tried it this day and It was perfect so I kept working on them and theres video of all that.

In this video I do my second round of flairs and my buddy Nick “Pirate” pulles his first flair!
I landed my first flair! This was my second day trying them, and I spent a good 2 hours practicing them that day. It wasn’t the cleanest flair, I bottomed out pretty much, but it was really cool and fun to do!!! Glad I did my first one and now I can keep working on form and making them cleaner!

Yesterday I spent most of the day riding the factory and I tried a couple new things. I did a 360 on the resi spine, and I was trying flairs into the foam pit. I also tried doing some super extended flip no handers and I tried a nothing over the box jump.
During this session I started things up gradually and by the end I was comfortable with my flips, and using the new spine at the factory! The ankle felt pretty good and I think I can start getting back on the bike and doing all my tricks again.
One of the only parks in the entire world (if not the only) started & funded by local riders & families, now with 6′ spine 5.5′ box & 7′ quarters both directions to foam & removable resi, monsterrrr transfers, sub box, grind boxes, etc.
Watch our Minnesota scene reallyyyy start to kill it in the next few years… Speaking of killing it, Jason Tufty & Dustin Grice voluntarily just clocked in 40 solid hours of work within 2 days cutting framing sheeting & painting, thank you sooo much to all help & especially everyone who makes this facility possible..
Riders showed up tonight & we seriously destroyedddd the place. Let’s build this facility & our sport even bigger, come chip in ride 24/7 & have your own key

The factory had an open house and of course I was there! Also the mega jump was set up and I did a couple frontflips! VitaminWater was out there, Chipotle, and USAirbag.

Even though I couldn’t ride, I still headed out to the Hasting’s River Town Days with The Factory to hang out and film these guys as they performed. A couple first’s happened including a side by side backflip done by AJ Haines and Dustin Grice! It was a really fun time, and I was glad that I could go!
Its about passion, camaraderie & making memories. A community of many coming together as one. It matters not what we ride, but in that we all ride.
